Provenance: Designed by Gordon Bower & Partners for the National Gallery in 1986 and made by Arthur Brett & Sons, Norwich, Englad c. 1988.

Condition Report: In structurally sound condition, there are no wobbles to the back or arms. There is some minor cracking and fading to the leather. The extreme edges have scuffs and marks consistent with public use. The leather would benefit from nourishing and the frames could do with a light repolish. One corner back support moulding is missing entirely. The leather is slighly faded to the arms and there is one button missing.
