Condition report:
Cast in two sections - the two halves need to be realigned - presently a little off, see image. The base remains solid whilst the upper half twists and must be in a screw thread. When aligned the upper section is wobbly and not sturdy. See extra images.
The surface with wear and rubbing from general handling commensurate with use and some very small spots of verdi gris and general tarnishing. Gilding worn particularly towards the base.
Signature to the underside.
Will need rewiring. Later light fitment.
This has been in the same family for sometime, possibly acquired in the 60s.
