All with some rubbing, chips and knocks commensurate with use and age.
The main stationery box with a Romantic scene of exotic buildings and mother of pearl domed follies. Two main rubbed patches to the sides, one particularly to the left very obvious. The hinges a little loose. See extra images. Interior used and with an ink mark to the writing slope. A very light warp to the top - faint bowing.
Smaller box with general wear and inky, dirty worn interior lining.
The face screens with wear, rubbing and some chips and losses to the edges, as to be expected.
The two with monuments, inscribed with the places names, one the Scotts Memorial and the other the Burns Monument (possibly). Both with worn away gilt decorated trees to the background.
The other rectangular two with named views, one Tintern Abbey and the other Melrose Abbey. The latter with more obvious chips and losses to the mother of pearl border.
The bellows with wear wear to the leather of one, with tears and losses. The other in better conditon, possibly the leather replaced. The view depicting Drayton Manor. Scuffs and scratches in areas.
