The sculptor, Arno Oswald Zauche was part of a progressive artististic movement in the Weimar Republic, prior to World War 1. He was trained as a ceramists and sculptor and also known for various public monuments, many commemorating the fallen soldiers of war.
Condition Report:
Repair to one antler. Very minor wear to the high points of the patina. Small nibbles to the edges of the base.
