Condition report:

This has a pierced pediment or cornice which is removable. The central section is missing

The whole breaks into the bottom section (cupboards) and the upper section with the shelves and glazed doors, then the pediment.

Various chips, losses to veneers. A section of moulding to the right hand side return is missing from the top of the pediment.

The frieze drawer handles are replacements.

There is a patch repair to the veneer around one of the urn’s to the bottom right cupboard.

Otherwise, inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age. Some fading and discolouration to the veneers as to be expected.

Please see additional images which also show the nine shelves present with the lot.

A shelf to the top is 33cm deep. A shelf to the bottom is 48cm deep.

The back boards look to be original. Some minor worm holes to some of the carcass timbers visible at the back.

The doors are pretty unwrapped, although there is always a little movement commensurate with age. There is a slight gap between the central door of the bottom section see photographs.
