Half title, woodcut ornaments on titles, 38 folding engraved plates, tables (some mainly light and marginal spotting and staining). Contemporary mottled calf, spines gilt in compartments with red morocco lettering-pieces, green silk markers, red edges (extremities rubbed and scuffed, joints of vol. II splitting). Provenance: From the Collection of Peter and Margarethe Braune; Stonyhurst College (labels dated 1810 on front pastedowns and on titles); old illegible (partly erased) stamped monograms at foot of titles; "From the books of E.
