Boscombe - The board is sound and paint surface clean; frame abrasions to upper and right-hand border; no sign of retouching under ultraviolet.
Waxham Beach - The board is sound, traces of discoloured varnish that have gathered in the impasto in the sky, no sign of retouching under ultraviolet light.
Each held in painted wooden frames with old marks and scratches.
