Condition report:
The mechanism does work - when the trigger is pulled and the mechanism is pulled back and the tinder box lid is down, the released flint strikes and sparks fly.
Otherwise, general wear, rubbing and some tarnishing and light scuffs in areas commensurate with use and age, including a small chip to the base of the handle.
