Of typical form, surmounted by a bell and pierced frets, above 4 1/2in. silvered chapter ring, enclosing an engraved centre inscribed Tho Tompion / London, with silvered alarm disc (decorative only), fitted with a chain fusée movement, anchor escapement and pendulum locking block and nut, perhaps incorporating some earlier elements?
