Condition report
The hood perhaps had an ogee pediment which has been removed to reduce its height. The three brass finials are replacements. The case has been repolished. The door has a slight warp to it, pulling away at the top on the left edge. The dial is lacquered brass, when once it would have been silvered. There are some lines of corrosion to the surface. The movement requires a service. There is a pendulum, no key and two associated wrought-iron weights.
