The case with a moulded pediment above a blind fret frieze and arched glazed dial door, the trunk inset with an arched door, on a stepped base and plinth foot, the 12in. arched brass dial with painted moon phase indicator, above brass spandrels enclosing a silvered chapter ring with matted centre and inscription plate, above calendar aperture, the twin train five knopped and ringed pillar movement with anchor escapement and strike on a bell, movement and case possibly associated

Condition report

With pendulum and two lead weights, together with crank key.  The movement is in good order and may benefit from a clean and service.  The case is in reasonable condition, marks and knocks consistent with age.  Decoration refreshed.  There is a cut-out to the lower part of the dial door.
