The shield-shaped case with a swept handle, supported on four addorsed dolphins, with circular white enamel dial and alarm subsidiary within a chased gilt mask, the twin train movement with Margaine's cachet mark and numbered 11820 to the bottom left corner of the backplate, with silvered platform lever escapement striking and repeating on a blued steel gong
