The case with reeded uprights and five rectangular bevelled glass panels, the brass dial plate with overlaid pierced and chased foliate panel, enclosing a silvered chapter ring detailed R. Stewart Paris, with pierced and chased central roundel, push/repeat button, original silvered platform lever escapement, the backplate stamped with E. M & Co in an oval, with strike on a blued steel gong, together with its original burgundy-coloured Morocco leather travelling case

Condition report

The carrying case handle is lost.  Scuffs and marks consistent with age.  The push buttons are lost.  There is no key.

The clock repeats but does not tick.  It requires a full service and overhaul.
