The hinged cover with five bevelled glass panels, enclosing the mechanism with drum-shaped movement and recording barrel, signed silvered barometric ring with blued steel hand, 8-chamber aneroid drum, small thermometer and inkwell, all on a bronze-coloured lacquer brass plate, a drawer below for spare papers

In good original condition. The movement is ticking, there is ink spillage around the glazed inkwell.
