A TWO PAIRS OF BRASS CANDLESTICKS (6)

The first pair with acanthus leaf clasped nozzles supporting glass storm shades, 50cm high; together with a pair of partially fluted column candlesticks, 27cm high; and a pair of ship’s candlesticks with gimbal fitted candle nozzle and securing loop, 26cm high

Condition report: 

Storm shade candlesticks are in good order. There are some old dents, marks commensurate with use and age. 

The glass shades are probably later and firmly fixed to the top edge of both. 

Remains of a candle is stuck within both nozzles.

Cleaned and polished. 

The other pair with square bases also show signs of wear and rubbing, but also cleaned and polished. 

Together with the other pair which are late 20th Century.
