ROYAL INTEREST: A VICTORIAN GOLD AND ENAMEL LOCKET

Of oval form, the cover with blue enamel cypher and coronet, the other side with battles of the Crimean War, detailed 'Alma SEP.20.1854. INKERMANN NOV.5.1854., the interior with a glazed compartment displaying a locket of hair against a blue ground and a presentation engraving 'This locket containing the hair of George Duke of Cambridge was given by him to The Queen, and after Her death was a gift from The King to the Duke of Teck 1901.', weight 17.2g, 4cm x 2.5cm.
