A couple of dents to footrim, armorial slightly rubbed, but contemporary with the piece, handle probably replaced and is partly burnt and requires replacement, circular flat top of lid and the finial possibly replaced, lid is marked with lion passant only, evidence of repairs within the lid below the top section
