Condition Report;
The niello box; wooden interior lining is later, lid decoration rather rubbed, but shows a deer hunting scene, hinge in good condition, some wear to the niello sides and corners. The rectangular snuff box; a bit dirty to the corners of the interior, but looks original condition, foreign marks to front interior edge of base, exterior engine turning is a little rubbed, there are initials to the lid. The oval box; hinge is good, interior gilding a little weak, exterior in good condition.
All boxes would benefit from careful professional cleaning.
