With rippled handle above large bevelled glass panel, original silvered platform lever escapement, the backplate with Henry Jacot parrot cachet mark and numbered 5890, two blued steel gongs, the underside of the case with Full Striking / Silent / Quarters selection lever, the base plate also numbered

Numbered on the inside back of the front plate 90 / 5289 and again 5289 on the inside back of the backplate
