Victor Kullberg (d. 1898) was a very fine maker of chronometers. Born in Visby, Island of Gothaland, Sweeden, in 1824, he worked with Jorgensen in Copenhagen and came to London in 1851. His workmanship is without doubt of the highest quality, as evidenced by his prestigious awards of medals at the various International Exhibitions through the second half of the 19th century.
The chronometer appears to be in very good original condition. The movement is working and the plates are clean and free from marks. The case has an attractive lustre. The ivory roundels have lost their markings.
