Condition report:
The glass rectangular, canted angle top with rosewood veneers and brass mounts. Hinges secured with steel head screws - probably resecured.
The interior lined with red velvet which has faded and with a few marks.
Brass lock and key, which is functional.
Overall inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, minor veneer shrinkage cracks, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.
