Both chairs in good condition, upholstery later and in fair condition, frames solid with a few repairs. There is a few signs of old worm to the legs in areas (see images).
Repaired break to the one side stretcher, and a well concealed repaired break to the top of the opposite side front leg. (See images) and a spliced repair to the front foot of the other chair
The dust sheets to the undersides and rails have not been examined
General scuffs, rubbed detail and wear commensurate with use and age. Polished at some point..
The chairs probably date from the 19th century, but made in an earlier style.
