Condition report:
Later tooled green leather top, replaced at some point but with marks and wear and rubbing commensurate with use and age.
Carved with a Vitruvian scroll to the frieze with four sections later converted to form buttons or to connect to a bell system housed inside the one end cupboard. Two with recessed buttons, the border of one is loose, the outer two are painted over.
General knocks, chips and some losses commensurate with use and age. Notably a section missing to the inside of the knee hole at the bottom edge, a patch repair to one of the drawers, various small veneer chips to edges and wear to the feet, commensurate with use and age. Minor shrinkage cracks in areas.
