Condition report:
Oyster cut veneers to the top and front.
Fall front and hinged lid.
Various cracks, shrinkage, small chips to veneer and general wear commensurate with use and age.
A few pins missing from the brass straps and the odd strap loose at the bottom.
Later screws to the lock plate.
Filled in holes to the sides, where the box originally was secured to a base.
