With red enamel-like decoration and gilt-metal banding, the cover inset with a painted panel (probably ivory) of a huntsman having a mechanical action of raising his shotgun, the interior tortoiseshell lined, diameter 7.5cm, height 3cm, together with a 19th century French bronze mounted tole peinte pedestal bowl and cover, with a porcelain flower finial, 13cm high
Condition report;
Very poor throughout, possibly water damaged, loss of enamel and cracking, the inset panel cracked to one edge and detached from the cover
