The emerald is of medium colour saturation, it has a few uniform internal inclusions, which only very slightly break the surface of the stone in places, very minor chips to facets. The emerald may have been treated to enhance colour and clarity, approx size of emerald 15.1mm x 11.5mm, depth hard to tell because of nature of setting, would suggest approx 7mm. Setting to emerald is not marked and has not been tested by us, but is offered as gold.
Length of chain 48.5cm, general surface scratching consistent with age and wear especially to hinged bale.
