Carved standing holding a string of cash, a toad seated below, on a pierced rockwork base, 25.5cm high, mounted as a lamp; also a Chinese cloisonne yellow-ground small rectangular jardiniere, 14cm wide (2)

Lewis Gilbert (d.2018), the celebrated film director, producer and screenwriter, best known for his 007 James Bond movies and Alfie.


Condition Report: There is a screw through the middle of underside of the base of the group, fixing the gilt-metal base to the figure. 

The jardiniere has a dent to one  corner with some losses
