The top does not separate from the pedestal bases.
Overall the desk is worn, chipped with various losses to the extremities, edges and surfaces. Numerous marks and blemishes, scuffs and scratches commensurate with heavy use and age.
Sun fading in areas.
The handles are later. Plug marks visible to the drawers below the escutcheons.
One drawer is stuck with what looks like a screw fitting come through the escutcheon
Leather top very worn.
