With sarcophagus shaped hinged lid, enclosing two compartments, with ivory banding to the interior and base, on silvered bun feet, 25.5cm wide; 13cm high
Condition report:
A few chips and small losses in areas, as to be expected with age and use, notably to the corners and right side front edge of the lid.
Tortoiseshell lids to the interior, one could be associated with different handle, some small chips.
Later lining over the original foiled interior.
Tarnishing and discolouration to the feet, some discolouration overall commensurate with dirt, use and age.
