Of octagonal form, the hinged cover opening to reveal an enamelled dial with roman numerals, fitted with a scroll engraved fusee movement, 3.5cm wide
Condition report: The movement appears to be complete and ticks when given a small wind. There are no damages to the covers.
Provenance: Hylda and Lewis Gilbert, Sheldrake Place, London.
Lewis Gilbert (d.2018), the celebrated film director, producer and screenwriter, best known for his 007 James Bond movies and Alfie.
