Early 20th Century
Estimate: | £30 - £50 |
Hammer price: | £150 |
With bevelled glass, blue flower filled border on a white ground, with clear glass scrolls and flower heads, 30cm high
Condition report:
Missing some flower heads to the border, with some holes to the border and nails to the bottom edge.
A few inevitable losses to the flowers and white tesserae. Rubbing to the gilding. Oddly some rubbing to the gilding beneath the clear glass and blocks behind the glass, possibly indicating once a dressing table mirror, but no sign of an easel support.
Glass plate loose, pins missing from backboards. A little loss to silver ink and other spots of oxidisation.
