In the form of two quail, one looking upwards with detachable cover top its back, the other bird pecking from millet which forms the openwork base, later black painted characters to interior and underside of cover, 15cm high
Provenance: Alexander Aleco Ionides ( 1840-1898). By descent to George Alexander Ionides ( B. 1879).Thence by family descent
