Condition report
Original canvas, placed on reduced stretcher, probably by the artist. Areas of craquelure to dark pigments in dress and hat, small surface abrasions, lower right border and centre right border; minor frame abrasions to lower left corner and upper border; horizontal stretcher mark to centre. UV reveals infilling to aforementioned retouching as well as to face. Held in plaster gilt frame with old marks and scratches.
