Condition report
Canvas relined. The canvas appears to have been extended to the upper, left and right borders. paint surface is dirty with areas of discoloured varnish, some surface dirt and flecks of paint loss. Ultraviolet reveals scattered spots of retouching to extended areas of canvas, upper, left and right hand sides. held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition, some chips to giltwork.
