					The plain bowl with hinged cover applied with a coiled serpent to form the thumb-piece, pierced sides and engraved initials with a wood stem, 13cm high, together with another meerschaum pipe, the base modelled as a scallop shell with Victorian silver mounts, London 1846, the hinged cover with a raised fist finial.
