The end of the beak is slightly bent upwards. Otherwise in good condition.
When viewed from the back, below where the hinge pin fits there is a tubular construction. We do not know what purpose this serves.
Maker's mark is detailed 'Mauboussin, Paris 7390' to the back of the brooch.
