A set of six Regency parcel gilt ebonised dining chairs

Condition report:

Overall decoration and ebonising refreshed at some point, but also now with numerous chips, rubbed areas,  marks and scuffs and scratches to areas, commensurate with age and use. Noticeably, one chair with a loose top rail with chips to gilding touched over with gold paint and further chips to gilding on the rope twist border to the same chair. 

Other noticeable chips include a missing applied quartrefoil to the upright of one chair back and another rather worm away. 

Shrinkage cracks between some of the chair joints which will require some tidying.  Otherwise the chairs appear to be relatively sturdy, except the one with the loose top rail.  

Dirt and dust commensurate with age and use.  Would benefit from a general tidy up.
