A VICTORIAN OPAL AND DIAMOND BROOCH AND NECKLACE

The brooch set with seven cabochon opals in a surround of old cut and rose cut diamonds, mounted in gold and silver, with a detachable brooch and pendant fitting, pendant measures 3.5 x 2.5 cm including bale, pendant gross weight 9.2 grams, with a later addition chain set with four cabochon opals and six old cut diamonds, in gold, chain gross weight 6.3 grams.

CONDITION REPORT - Very good condition, no notable damage, stones well set, both pieces are tarnished, brooch fitting easily detachable and works well. 

One opal on the chain is cracked.

The brooch is Victorian and the chain is presumed 1930s.
