AN ENGLISH PORCELAIN ICE PAIL AND COVER (2)

Probably Derby, early 19th century
Painted with an extensive pastoral landscape, signed on the base Killy Beresford, the cover gilt with interlinked ovals and bearing the crest of the Park Beresford family above the motto `Nil Nisi Cruce', 26.5cm high

The liner is lacking. The ice pail with a long crack , approx 20cm length and some restoration to the lower part. The cover with some wear to the gilding and glued repair to the knop.
