The campana form cup with bold foliate and fluted decoration, raised on a shaped circular foot, the detachable cover with a finial, (detached but present), the German inscription relating to Dr Hans von Bulow, Stuttgart, 12 March 1867, height 32cm and with the finial 35.5cm, marked 15 DK, weight 478 grams. The translation of the inscription is 'Royal Concertmaster Dr Hans von Bulow, In memory, The Royal Court Chapel, Stuttgart, 18, March 1867
