Condition report:
1) The construction of the carcass is oak and pine (oak drawer linings) and walnut veneered. The back boards are replacements and back bracket feet also look later. The frieze secretaire drawer is also constructed with what looks to be mahongay. See images.
2) later handles and locks.
3) Although some rust - the key appears to operate in the locks.
4) Missing back right edge of the moulding - see images. Shrinkage to the joints, some old splits, scuffs nd some veneers with infill or replacement sections. See images. Some dents to the top with some old worm. Some discolouration as well.
5) Verneer chips to the drawer fronts and areas where wear is heavier.
The secretaire drawer is a later adaption.
General inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.
