The clock surmounted by a seated figure with a shield, above a shaped pediment with four vase-shaped finials, each with a female caryatid below enclosing an arched door with equestrian mount, the brass dial with twelve numeral plaquettes, the shaped base with four hippocampi, on shaped plinth and foliate feet, the modern German-made movement striking on bell; together with a conforming console ensuite

The clock: 109cm high

The table: 97cm high; 77cm wide


Condition report

The boulle work is imitation.  The spear is loose from the figure.  There is one pendulum and a key.  We have not been able to warrant if the clock works.  The central panel on the clock base is loose.  One foot on the table is loose and requires refixing.
