The brass Gorge case with folding handle and large rectangular bevelled glass top panel above bevelled glass front, sides and back door, the white enamel dial, signed by LeRoy, with Paris and London addresses, blued steel Breguet moon hands and subsidiary alarm dial, the twin train movement, with Drocourt’s cachet mark and numbered above the lower left pillar stub 10354 and by LeRoy 9559, with script at the base of the plate Repassée par LeRoy & Fils / Palais Royal 13 & 15 Paris, with original large silvered platform lever escapement, striking and repeating the hours and quarters on two blued steel gongs and with alarm train, with Silence /Sonnerie lever in the base

CONDITION REPORT
The case has lost its gilding. The glasses are in good condition, except the rear door, which has a chip to the upper right-hand corner.
We understand the movement has recently been cleaned and oiled. It appears in good condition. The strike and repeat mechanism works. There is a small chip to both the right and left upper corners of the dial. There is no key.
