The case with folding handle and large rectangular top glass, above bevelled glass panels and rear door, on spreading foot, the signed white enamel dial with blued steel hands and subsidiary alarm dial, the twin train movement, no. 3030 with original silvered platform lever escapement , repeating and striking the hours and quarters on two blued steel gongs, with alarm train and Silence / Sonnerie lever under the base

CONDITION REPORT

There is no key. A small chip to the upper left-hand corner of the dial.  All the glasses are in good condition except the back door, which has a chip on the upper right-hand corner.  The finger button for the back door is broken and has been previously glued.  The movement ticks but is dirty and requires a service.  The silvering to the platform has tarnished.  The repeat functions, although the hammers are softly touching the gongs.  The case has lost its gilding.
