The shaped rectangular frame engraved with foliage , the pivoted handle above a bevelled glass with silvered dial below, finely cut blued steel hands and with two subsidiaries below for day of the week and the date, the reverse of the case with maker's initials at the top W. V., with shaped pivoted strut and engraved finger piece for winding and three apertures for hand set and calendar setting, the large rectangular movement with the platform lever escapement mounted to the top in the same plane

The case is in very good condition. No damage to the glass. With a setting key. The movement ticks for a short while but requires a service.
