A LARGE MAHOGANY DROP-DIAL WALL CLOCK

The mahogany case with a moulded surround and cast-brass bezel above the signed 24in white-painted dial and black-painted hands, with a plain drop trunk below, the substantial chain fusée movement, stamped on the backplate GILLETT & CO. CLOCK FACTORY CROYDON LONDON and numbered below 11911, with four turned pillars and maintaining power

CONDITION REPORT

With its pendulum.  The movement is in need of a clean.  Some marks on the dial from the hour hand and with some slight streaking, but otherwise the original surface.  The case has been recently repolished.  There are two vertical veneer cracks to the front of the drop.
