The slender arched case surmounted by a brass spherical finial, above glazed door and sides, the trunk inset with a panel door, the inside with an engraved brass panel inscribed ‘Presented to Mr. E. J. ALLAN FROST / on the Occasion of the Honour of the O. B. E. / conferred upon him by the King. / Subscribed by Friends and Y. M. C. A. Workers in the / Aldershot Command and elsewhere April 1918', above a shaped waisted base, on outswept feet, the 11 1/2in arched brass dial, detailed John Gregson, London on an oval in the arch, silvered chapter ring and pierced brass spandrels, enclosing a foliate engraved centre with seconds subsidiary and calendar aperture, the twin train five-pillar movement with rack strike and anchor escapement

CONDITION REPORT
With two brass-cased weights and pendulum. There is no key. The case lifts out of its base for ease of transport. The movement is late 18th century and has been re-dialled for use here. It requires a clean and service.
