Red=painted flatbed frame, with pin-wheel escapement and maintaining power, signed high-relief panel, with heavy red-painted cast-iron bob pendulum and three cast-iron weights, and a crank key and pulleys, the oak blue and gilt decorated chevron-shaped dial with motion work behind, and with grey-painted steel mounting frame for the dial
