A LATE VICTORIAN ORMOLU-MOUNTED EBONISED QUARTER STRIKING MANTEL CLOCK

The arched case with two finials, above the 7 in. arched brass dial with pendulum regulation in the arch, the silvered chapter ring with fully marked minute ring, on a stepped base and scroll feet, the twin train rectangular movement stamped W & H Sch, striking the quarters and hours on two blued steel gongs

Condition report:

1 pendulum. 

We do not guarantee the working order of this clock or that it keeps good time. It is not currently running at time of report and we can recommend professional homologises who would be able to supply a detailed report if necessary.

Case: Marks and scratches and loss of colour to the corners, with a patch of blistering to the top (see photograph).  

Dial: Small amount of rust to end of hands and marks throughout.
