A FRENCH LOUIS XVI STYLE ORMOLU CLOCK GARNITURE (3)

Circa 1880
The clock surmounted by an urn above a guilloche moulded bezel with convex glass, flanked by a ringed lion mask, on outswept base with grille panels and laurel festoons, on breakfront plinth, the 6 ½ in. white enamel dial with blue chapters and outer Arabic markers, inscribed SUAL A BORDEAUX, with pierced gilt latten hands, the large drum-shaped movement, stamped Japy Freres in a cachet and with countwheel strike on a bell, 54cm high, together with a pair of conforming candelabra, 57cm high

Condition Report:  

One pendulum. One drip pan missing. Wear to the gilding throughout. Branches to the candelabra require straightening. We cannot guarantee the working order to the clock movement or that it keeps good time.
